Big Surprise!

I had no idea owning my own business would be so much work, to be honest with you, or that I was so unprepared to do so when I started my company. I knew I wanted to work with kids but I didn’t know how and after a few months of miscellaneous jobs I figured out that tutoring was the right place for me. I decided to partner with some other part time tutors in town and start a company of sorts and that’s where we are now, getting the business off the ground. We’re working on stuff like www.smallbusiness.xo.compackages and the website and recruiting clients and it’s really just a ton to think about! I go to sleep thinking about it and wake up thinking about it and at the end of the day I feel jittery because I just know I’m missing something. I’l be happy when we’re really up and rolling and I get to put my mind back on the kids and less on the business end of things.

Traveling Far Away!

Just the other day I came across a site that offers rv repair, who can afford to fill their RV’s anymore. However, finding RV repair companies can be hard these days, so I’m sure they’re doing pretty good.

My wife and I talked about getting an RV not to long ago. We thought how great it would be to travel the country visiting places you only see in magazines. There was only one problem, kids, small ones. What would we do for school. And how would it affect them. They wouldn’t have the chance to make friends, and would have to leave friends behind. So there goes that idea!
