Top Batman Movie!

The Dark Knight movie is already selling out for opening day July 18.  The movie had two set screenings, one at midnight and the other at 3am.  Since the demand is so high there is going to be a 6am screening to meet that high demand.  An analyst for Exhibitor Relations Co. has stated that a 6am screening is unheard of and not normal.  But then again, is anything normal after all?  The predictions are that this movie will have the biggest opening box office day. Fandango is also stating that “The Dark Knight is our fastest selling film in wide release this year,” Hong says. “It trumps Iron Man, Sex and the City, Indiana Jones [and] WALL-E at the same point in their sales cycles—and it’s even outpacing last year’s Spider-Man 3 and Pirates [of the Caribbean: At World's End].”  I personally had no idea this movie was going to be so great.  I guess I will need to try to get my wife to go see this one with me.  After all the very first Batman movie was our first movie date.  I don’t know if she will go, but I will try.
