Jobless Benefits

Jobless Benefits!

It seems things are getting worst, not getting any better. The U.S. jobless benefits just jumped again, more people making claims for unemployment insurance benefits. At this point there’s about 11% of the workforce collecting unemployment insurance benefits, which hasn’t been this high since 1982. This is the main reason behind all the bailout plans being handed out these days. Without these bailout loans people filing for unemployment insurance benefits would be close to 20%. I’m not saying I agree with the bailouts, but it’s keeping people in their jobs. One place to look is jobs in philly , anyway that’s what I heard. I just hope things start getting better sooner than later, because all this bad news is hurting the U.S. markets.

Rubber Stamps For All

Rubber Stamps For All!

My biggest problem I have with all the welfare money going out to these big companies is AIG. These jerks and crocks so far have received over $170 billion of tax payers money. And their going to need about another $200 billion to get straighten out. Just the other day AIG reported a $62 billion lose, then had the guts to ask Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke for another quick $30 billion to stay alive. I wonder when Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke will just hand them a few rubber stamps with his signature on them to write their own checks. This welfare bailout is really starting to get to me. We’re saving banks and anyone that wants free money from us, and in the mean time our 401k’s are becoming worthless. I thought the whole point behind all this is to help the American people. I can’t think of one person that this bailout has helped. Here’s what we need to do, and I said it before, the U.S. government needs to take these companies over. Take them over not to run, but to break up and sell off to other companies that are doing it right. This way we get our money back and those other companies with good management in place get to grow, which would create jobs or keep jobs. Sounds good, but will never happen. The U.S. government and most Americans are going to go broke within a year. The poor are going to get poorer!

In The Spotlight

In The Spotlight!

Once again Microsoft Corp. has found it’s self in the spotlight once again. This time in an embarrassing way they would like to forget about. Here’s what happen just in case you missed the story. Microsoft Corp. had made a mistake in pay to the people they laid off. So what did they do – they asked for the money back. A company with over $21 billion in cash asked 25 people to return $5,000, now that’s a dumb move. They would have gotten away with it 10 years ago, but in today’s world with the internet at everyone’s finger tips it’s not going to happen. To me that’s like buying a new set of pet beds, your animal sleeps on it, then pees on it, and then you take it back, not going to happen. And that’s just what Microsoft did in this case, they laid of people that they could have afforded for years to come. I would have bet that if Bill Gates was still running the show he would have never laid off one person. That’s because in it’s 34 years of being in business Microsoft had never laid off one person, which say’s a lot about Gates. I should also say that after the news of asking for the money back Microsoft decided to let the laid off employees keep the money, but only to save face.

Online Fun

Online Fun!

Anyone looking to play online bingo?  If so click on the link. It looks like no more trips to the bingo hall for a lot of people out there once they see this site. This site offers a ton of bingo games, and hours of fun as well. I was poking around on this site for awhile tonight, it seemed pretty neat, considering I don’t gamble online. But I figured I’ll give them a shot since you are able to play free bingo and get some free cash to use.

I was reading that there are a lot of people out there playing internet bingo. And would it surprise you that the majority of the players are women? I wasn’t surprised at all when I read that, and if you’ve ever been to a bingo hall you’ll see why. So with that being said, check my video out and check the site out. And don’t forget to get your free $30 play cash.
