Chinese Olympic Cheaters

Chinese Olympic Cheaters!

I really don’t know if this is really true or not.  So don’t slam me with your emails.  But there was a report out stating that gymnast He Kexin for the Chinese Team is 14. Gymnasts have to be 16 during the Olympic year to be eligible for the games.  So if that’s the case the Chinese Team must be disqualified and the gold should go to the U.S. and so on.  If you really look at some of these girls on the team they really look young.  The thing is that we will never really know, because the Chinese government can fix any birth certificate.  Although nine months ago the Chinese government’s news agency reported that she was 13 years old.  So if someone out there knows something let me know.

Money And Baseball

Money And Baseball!

I was reading tonight that major league baseball player Mike Aviles of the Kansas City Royals first contract was for $1,000.  Yes, he had no choice, he was told take it or leave it.  If he wanted to play at the major league level he had to take it, so he did.  Here’s something weird though, the player before him signed for $130,000 and the guy after him signed for $138,000, what’s up with that.  But he stuck with it knowing that some day it will work out for him.  Anyway, he made it to triple A ball where he was making $2,500 a month, still way below the ave.  Today he’s playing in the majors making over 10 times his first check.  If you ask me, this guy is a true major league baseball player.  He has earned everything he has, and you can’t take that away from him.

USA Gymnastics Team

USA Gymnastics Team!

I was just reading that a staff member of the Woman’s USA Gymnastics Team is blaming there lose on being delayed. If you watched the event, Alicia Sacramone was called to start her performance. Then they held her on hold, for a few minutes. The U.S. staff member, Martha Karolyi, the team co-ordinator stated that they held her to break her concentration. And if that was the case, it worked. Because Alicia Sacramone had a really bad performance. I really don’t know if they held her is true. But we really shouldn’t blame anyone. I mean come on; we won the silver medal. But it seems that isn’t good enough for the women’s team. They where really upset about the silver medal, and that makes me upset has an American. They need to stop thinking they’re better than the rest of the world and just go out and have fun. Like the Men’s USA Gymnastics Team. Those guys’s where so happy to just medal out. They won the bronze medal and where jumping all over the place. Now that made me happy for those guys’s, because they went out and gave there all and really didn’t expect to win anything. Those guy’s set the bar on how all Americans should play these games. Not just the Americans, all Nations. Way to go Men’s USA Gymnastics Team, you make us all proud.

Ken Griffey In Deep

Ken Griffey In Deep!

Ken Griffey Jr made the throat slash gesture after he hit his 607th career homer.  The gesture was made as he crossed home plate.  This is a huge shocker to everyone; Griffey isn’t this type of player.  I don’t believe he has ever done anything that got him in trouble.  He has been in the league since 1989.  Let’s not let this gesture destroy his very clean record.  At first everyone speculated that Griffey was making the gesture toward someone in the stands.  But later Hal McCoy confirmed that it was meant for Reds announcer Jeff Brantley.  I have no idea why, but will find out.  What Griffey should do is come out a say he’s sorry and we all should move on.  But I have no idea what the whole story is on this, so he may never say he’s sorry.
