Remain Safe

Remain Safe!

With crime on the rise in just about every corner of the United States people are looking for new ways to protect their family’s and businesses. One thing people are doing is buying security cameras , as well as other security systems. If I could afford these type’s of services I would have one installed today. The area we live in is really low key, not to big, not to small, just the right area. Crime in our area is very very low, that’s why we moved here. However, we realize that crime can strike in a second, so we’re always ready. We make sure our doors are lock and secure tight. All windows are locked as well, we try really hard to remain secure. But having a security system would help me and my wife sleep a lot better at night. So if you live in a high crime area you really need to take that extra step to remain secure, or move to a low crime area.

Shopping For A Deal!

Are you tierd of all those big box stores selling cheap crap? I am, that’s why I try to do most of my shopping online. No more running to the malls to get those so called deals. This past Holiday season I read that a few online retailers had double digit percent increase, which is no surprise to me. People like myself are are flocking to make purchase online. Afterall you can buy just about anything online. You looking for a Bob stroller , not a problem, buy it online. Need a new TV, computer, printer, whatever you’re looking for, get it online. In most cases if you do a good search you will find a good deal.

Financial Markets

Turbulence In Financial Markets!

Today on Wall Street might not be a good one. Now insurance giant American International Group is struggling with paying out over $100 million to the group that caused their problems. Some say that this group was due over $120 million. But AIG and the real owner, the U.S People are saying take it or leave it. I don’t think these people are due anything, they should’ve fired all of them, contracts or not. Another problem for AIG is that insurance advertising has really picked up on TV, online, and in the streets. Insurance companies are really pushing for our business. This makes for the outcome of the day very hard to predict. Then again who really knows what will happen anymore. The whole financial markets are in a global credit crisis, yes, still today. Think about it for a second, 3 of the 5 biggest investment banks are gone, 2 in one day last year. And now the world’s largest insurance company, AIG will be gone if they don’t turn themselves around soon. The Fed has left the interest rate at zero percent to stabilize the economy.

Global Problem

Global Problem!

So far the out look for Wall Street looks like its going to remain somewhat okay.  And around the world the Asian markets seems pretty much flat as well.  The European markets will remain flat as well.  With the out come of Black Friday this year it seems that the hope of the U.S market will show good gains in the new year.  I heard that there was a 2 to 3 percent increase in sales over last year, is good.  But with all those deep discounts it will cut into retailer’s profits.  The retailers also showed a good Cyber Monday.  With all this holiday shopping it could very well stop the recession, and start to turn things around. But a lot of people think that it’s going to get bad over the next few months, which I hope doesn’t happen. Everyone already knows where in a recession, heck we’ve been a recession for over the last year, and could last another year. Lets hope for a good day on Wall Street on Monday of the new year, and days to come.
