Finding Parts

Finding Parts!

Just the other day I came across a site that offers Mopar performance parts at reansonable prices. Finding parts for your car isn’t always as easy as you may think it is. Making a trip to the parts store isn’t always a gurantee that your going to get the right part. Most part stores don’t always have matching part numbers, or at time could have the wrong cross number. Or at times they will just match up parts, which isn’t a good idea. I purchase a sencsor for a part store that they told me was the right one, which ended up being the wrong one. I did find the right part at another store, but wasn’t easy. I could have saved myself time just simply by heading to the dealer for the right part. So if youplan on going to your local part store make sure it’s someone you trust. If they start matching parts by how they look leave the store and call your local dealer. Your local dealer will find your part, in most cases the right part. If they use the part number you will get the right part. It may cost you a little more money up front, but over all you will save.

Dumping Your Car!

If you have an extra car laying around, or your looking to purchase a new one you should consider donating your old one. They’re people right now in great need of a car, and you could help. And if your wondering how or even who to donate that car to I will give you and idea, how about The American Red Cross. The American Red Cross has one of the best programs for taking in cars that where donated. Plus, if you donate your car to the American Red Cross Program you will get a tax break. And think about how great it would be to get some new car accessories for your new car. But the tax break and new accessories is nothing compared to the fact that your helping someone.

GM Sells Saturn

GM Sells Saturn!

The deal to sell General Motors Corps. Saturn brand to Roger Penske will be finalized very quickly. Roger Penske’s dealership group will retain all 13,000 Saturn employees and dealerships. This is a win win for everyone involved in the deal. This will make Saturn a much stronger and profitable company. The plan that Penske is coming up with will work. He’s planning not to get involved with the manufacturing side of the business. He wants the Saturn vehicles to be made by a manufacturing company, then basically buying the vehicles to resell in the dealerships. This would keep their costs way down, which would result in profits for the first time for Saturn. The only thing left to do is get the rubber stamps to close the deal.

General Motors Is Done

General Motors Is Done!

That’s right, they finally did what everyone knew was going to happen, they filled for bankruptcy protection today. And shortly after the filling President Obama held a short press meeting why the U.S Government is taking over. He basically said that we’re giving GM $30 billion to create a new GM. And that the U.S Government will not run the company. Who does he think he’s kidding, everyone knows who’s going to run GM. The people that are going to run GM are the people Obama buts on their board. If I where in Obama’s shoes I would have every top executive at GM turn in their credit cards, cars, laptop and any other property owned by GM and kick them out the door. The top people at GM where all about the money, not the hard workers making the cars. I hope we make a good profit off this buy out. I then but that money to good use.
