Heading North!

Every year my wife and family head north, way north, Lake Placid to visit family. It’s kind of funny how my wife’s side of the family is spread out. They either live in the North Country or deep in the south. Anyway, we’re heading north to visit that part of her family in about a month and I’m going to need a new jacket to keep warm.

One year we were up there and it was so cold, 30 below zero, that’s cold. And when the wind blew it was like 50 below zero. One other thing I think I’m going to pickup is new pair boots. Walking outside with standard shoes doesn’t cut it up there, your feet will freeze. And gloves, will be getting a new pair as well. Most of my apparel will be The North Face brand, nothing is better. Just about everyone that lives in the North Country owns something from the The North Face brand.

New Ideas!

Are any of you looking to save money on your lighting products. I personally need some new bathroom lighting in my house. I also have another room that I have set aside that I consider our second family room that needs some new lighting as well. I have everything setup for watching TV to playing games, works great for a get together room. The problem is that it really could use a new lighting setup in there, maybe some day.

I was thinking about heading down to the local big box store to see what they offer. What I will do is check their prices and then search online to see if I can find it cheaper. Sometimes I find things cheaper online and sometimes not so. It’s always worth the search.

Taking A Vacation!

Have any of you ever thought about taking a vacation to Key West, Florida? I know I have in the past, and I’m still thinking about heading down that way some time this winter. And if you’re thinking of heading down that way as well, you need to check for the best deals. And make sure your hotel has a few ceiling fans, it’s going to be hot. I came across a few sites that offer some good deals. What I did was searched Google for a few ideas. Although I have never used the sites I found, I think someone out there could find them to be a reliable source. So if your looking to travel to the Keys to that search. And check out as many sites as you can to get the best rates.

Still Without Work!

Do you or someone you know looking for a job? Maybe you should start looking to get into the health services business. There are a lot of health care job site out there that can help you do this.

Right now it’s so hard to get a job anywhere in the US, or around the world. Millions of people are still without work, and without any real change coming soon. People around the world are starting to get very stressful about not having a job. Without jobs everything will fail, everything. The Governments of the world need to help get people back to work. They need to provide tax breaks to small businesses, they employ more people than big businesses do. They also need to help people start their own businesses. And stop waisting money on projects that only provide work for a few months, it’s useless. At this point I hope that jobs start coming back soon, because if they don’t we’re all going to be feeling the pain.
