You don’t have to be too concerned when you introduce your child to the internet when you make sure that they know the rules and that you will enforce them if not complied with. That is the way we handled it when we introduced our daughter to the proper use of our wild blue New Hampshireconnection. She tried us out of course but since we did what we said we would do she learned quickly that she should follow the rules.

We started her out with a computer that had no wild blue internetaccess at all to help her learn how to use the computer. She had Microsoft Word to play with and some games to help her learn how to navigate the programs, but it wasn’t until we installed satellite internet service that she really began to have fun with her computer. Like I said she tried us out to see if we were watching and lost her privileges for a few days. She didn’t like that so we have had no further problems with her internet usage.

Having internet access has been a very good way for her to get information on any subject so that she can write papers for schooland to also be able to stay in touch with the people she loves and her friends as well. Caution is only as good as those backing it up.
