Jobless Benefits

Jobless Benefits!

It seems things are getting worst, not getting any better. The U.S. jobless benefits just jumped again, more people making claims for unemployment insurance benefits. At this point there’s about 11% of the workforce collecting unemployment insurance benefits, which hasn’t been this high since 1982. This is the main reason behind all the bailout plans being handed out these days. Without these bailout loans people filing for unemployment insurance benefits would be close to 20%. I’m not saying I agree with the bailouts, but it’s keeping people in their jobs. One place to look is jobs in philly , anyway that’s what I heard. I just hope things start getting better sooner than later, because all this bad news is hurting the U.S. markets.

Gastric Bypass

Gastric Bypass!

Here’s some interested reading I came across not to long ago. It seems that gastric bypass surgery offers no help if you have diabetes. I was really surprise about this, because I thought, and also read that the surgery was very helpful. I read that gastric bypass is now the most commonly performed weight-loss surgery in the U.S. And that almost 140,000 procedures done every year, that’s a lot. What ever happen with getting on a diet and sticking to it. Heck, there’s tons of ways to lose weight. One way is diet pills, do your own diet pill reviews on one’s like phentermine . And do a simple search and try taking that road if you can’t afford the surgery. Why do we need to just look for the quick fix all the time? I say, if your overweight just simply get out of the chair and go for a walk, that’s what I did. I got tired of being a little overweight and started walking, the fresh air and no food around really does work, it worked for me and it can work for you.

Say What

Say What!

Here’s a funny story I came acros not to long ago. The country Indonesia has decided to stop sending bird flu viruses to a research laboratory here in the U.S. Here’s their reasoning behind this, they think the U.S. is planning on using these bird flu viruses for biological weapons. I think if the U.S. ever wanted to do this they could do it on their own. And they’re also doing the same thing to other countries, not sending samples. I think the Indonesia’s health minister is a little nutty for thinking such a thing. What’s this guy going to do next, stop sending his acne solutions here as well? The things I read online just amaze me anymore. There are a lot of nutty people out there. I guess we’ll have to suck this one up and get our flu viruses from someone else.

The Fan

The Fan!

Here’s some pretty cool news I read about not to long ago. The New York Jets decided to give one of their #1 fans a game ball after they beat the New England Patriots, not their playoff win, it was a regular season game. The Jets Head coach presented the ball during the teams meeting. The ball was given to Ed Anzalone, a New York City firefighter for getting the crowed pump to rattle Tom Brady during the game. Just like any other team in the NFL, fans can help win games. And for dome team’s, their hard to beat. Anyway, this is the first time in NFL history a fan was given a game ball for keeping the crowd involved, which is cool. I could be wrong about my last statement, but I’ve never heard or read this happening before. So I say, next time you visit new york, ask around to see how many people know about this.
