Safety In Trouble

Safety In Trouble!

I was reading not to long ago that for the last few years home builders where cutting cost by ordering drywall from China makers. This their finding out is turning into a huge problem, mostly because the U.S. Government doesn’t test the chemicals that make up their drywall. And thousands of people are being forced to leave their homes after becoming very sick from this drywall. Homeowners are reporting that their walls smell like rotten-eggs, and making their skin break out. There’s also reports that copper pipes and silverware are being corroded within the home. And the problems don’t stop their for these home owners. Not only are these homeowners and their families getting sick, but there’s nothing they can do. Most of the homebuilders that built these homes are already in bankruptcy. And the banks are doing nothing to help them. So for most of these homeowners their going to have to file for bankruptcy, which I would do myself. My families health is way more important than my home. This is why I try to avoid buying things from China, things like safety products should never be purchased from China, or food products. We need to stop all imported products from China, their poisoning us. They did it with lead base paint, now their mixing up all sorts of chemicals to produce a product. I read the U.S. Senate is writing up a bill to stop drywall from being imported, they need to add more crap to that bill. Most of all imports that come from China are cheap and worthless. We need to start making our own crap, it may cost more, but at lease we’ll be safer.

Wins Again

Wins Again!

Lastly it seemed that Tiger Woods has been losing the respect of his pro golf buddies. But that wasn’t the case today when he was voted the PGA Tour player of the year by the players. This makes number 10 in his 13 years on tour. I read that this award will net him $10.5 million. He won 9 events after making his come back, but no majors. He was the points leader, which earning him the FedEx Cup, which paid him $10 million. Know that he’s won everything, including the kitchen sink, how much of the money will his wife take when she leaves him. He’s going to have to pay his wife a ton of money for support when she walks. I think she already agreed to a set amount, but now there’s kids involved. So for the most part, he’s going to be paying to keep the kids looking protected. He ruined his life, he will never be the same. And if his wife leaves, he’s going to look worst. He did this to himself, he deserves everything that happens to him.

Finding Parts

Finding Parts!

Just the other day I came across a site that offers Mopar performance parts at reansonable prices. Finding parts for your car isn’t always as easy as you may think it is. Making a trip to the parts store isn’t always a gurantee that your going to get the right part. Most part stores don’t always have matching part numbers, or at time could have the wrong cross number. Or at times they will just match up parts, which isn’t a good idea. I purchase a sencsor for a part store that they told me was the right one, which ended up being the wrong one. I did find the right part at another store, but wasn’t easy. I could have saved myself time just simply by heading to the dealer for the right part. So if youplan on going to your local part store make sure it’s someone you trust. If they start matching parts by how they look leave the store and call your local dealer. Your local dealer will find your part, in most cases the right part. If they use the part number you will get the right part. It may cost you a little more money up front, but over all you will save.

Getting Back To Work

Getting Back To Work!

I was just reading about a Habit for Humanity home was vandalized, why would someone do that? The home was just completed, the family was about to move in. We will never know why people do things like this. The home received a lot of damage, but mostly it was hit with major water problems. As most of you know, water will damage anything, tile’s, baseboard’s, drywall, even electrical systems.

The family did come together and re-did everything that needed to be done. They laid tile themselves, they re-did the drywall, and replaced some appliances. If I were them I would take this time to lay glass tiles, which is a much more durable. The police have have no leads, but are looking hard to find who did this. They’ll never catch them, but some day someone well come clean.
