Coming Together

Coming Together!

It seems that Yahoo is no longer looking to Microsoft as a partner, Well, the truth is that Yahoo never really wanted a deal with the software giant. It was Microsoft that was interested in Yahoo. And at one point they we’re willing to pay $33 a share for Yahoo. Today Yahoo is trading at $12 a share, down 63 percent for the year. This is only because of the markets crashing around the world. Yahoo is really worth more than that. And another company hurting is AOL, which their stock is down 45 percent. And now it seems that Yahoo and AOL will be coming together very soon. The two companies are in talks of a possible merger. If these two come together they will be held tight with some big industrial clamps. What I’m saying is, it would take a lot to ever pull them apart. They would be a true driving force in online marketing. This would hurt Google and Microsoft when and if they ever do join. When two companies of their sizes come together will make an instant impact. I would like them to merger; this would release some of Google’s hold on the online marketing. I would put an end to Microsoft trying to buy Yahoo for pennies on the dollar.

Tough times are here, and this is an inexpensive way to get your name out.

Dow Down

Dow Down!

Well it seems as the times are harder than most had thought. Today the Dow was at it’s lowest is almost 6 years. And the U.S. markets aren’t the only ones at there lowest. The Hang Seng in China is at it’s lowest in like 26 years. I really can’t see things getting any worst, but I said before the Dow dropped under 10,000 points. When that happened I just put my hands on my head and said, “here we go.” And the S&P 500 is at one of it’s lowest points ever as well. You would think with the stock at their lowest points people would buy, but that’s not happening. People are running from stocks and just about every investment out there. It almost looks like people are taking their money and sleeping with it. This global recession is the worst that anyone as ever seen? And it doesn’t look like things are going to turn around anytime soon. I’m at the point where the volatility in the stocks doesn’t even fad me anymore. I’m like most Americans out there that have lost a fair amount of money in the stocks. I keep hoping things will get better, and they will. We just need to come together and face what’s happen head on. And only then we will be able to fix the problem.

Help On The Way

Help On The Way!

I was reading tonight that the IMF (International Monetary Fund) would help Ukraine and Hungary with loans. These two countries have been hit really hard by this screw up by Wall Street. Ukraine will get emergency assistance with a $16.5 billion loan. This money will give Ukraine’s economy a pretty good jump-start. And Hungary hasn’t been cleared for a dollar amount as of yet, but they will more than likely get a similar amount if not more. This will build confidence in these countries, and get people buying again. We need to all remember that this isn’t an American problem, it’s a global problem. And if we’re ever going to come though this we need to work with the rest of the world.
