787 Commercial Jet!

It appears that Boeing’s CEO McNerney as dropped the ball on the 787 commercial jet. He has been in the background must of the time and never really made any comments on it. If I were the CEO I would have personally made comments on any delays of the biggest project to date. Will Boeing ever get this plane built in a timely matter? I do believe this plane will be built, but very late. Also, McNerney needs to be more visible in this project. After all, this is a make or break for Boeing. Anyway’s, I guess we’ll have to wait and see.

Oil High Again

Oil High Again!

The price of oil just keeps going up. It seems that the price of oil will not slow down anytime soon. If you already don’t know, oil is up over 25% year to date. Lets not forget because of the high oil prices our food cost will be on the rise. Just our simple basic food, milk, bread and eggs will have a huge rise. In some parts of the U.S. farmers are paying more than $4.25 a gallon for diesel fuel. Farmers aren’t the only ones; trucking companies that move our supplies are paying these high fuel costs as well. I read a report that if these fuel costs continue to rise, trucking companies will fold up. Hopeful things will change soon, but I don’t think so.

Greenland Warming!

I came across a story on the news wire on global warming. The article covered if Greenland where to melt away. It stated that if all the snow and ice would melt the ocean would rise more than 20 feet. If that where to happen you would see some of our major cities would disappear. Most of Florida would be gone as well as New York City. Also, Lets not forget about other countries on how this would affect them.

Intel Report Card!

Intel came out with a much better first quarter report than expected. Intel is coming off a double-digit lose in profits. But surprising enough, they turned it around and made some money. There where a few other big tech companies’s that also report a good quarter. This will hopefully make a lot of investors happy and remain in the tech market. Way to go Intel!
