Highest Gas Prices!

The motorists in some parts of Norway are paying the highest gas prices in the world.  I really don’t get it; Europe is the world’s fifth-largest oil exporter.  Why do they have to put such a huge tax on gas?  Come on, your making so much money by shipping it out, do you really need to tax your own people?  Here’s how much it cost to fill up your tank, 750 kroner (94 euros, 148 dollars).  The price of diesel costs 14.23 kroner (1.78 euros, 2.82 dollars) for a quarter gallon.  And their government slapped another tax increased in July, what are they thinking?  This just shows that no one is safe from their governments blood sucking.  The best way to take care of those bloodsuckers is to vote them out of office.  And if that doesn’t work, get yourself voted in.  We need good honest people in office, because god knows we don’t have any good one’s in office now.

NASCAR Experience!

Yahoo Profits Down!

Yahoo had a drop of 18 percent for this quarter.  A lot of investors did think it would be a greater amount then what it was.  This drop is mostly because of the fear inventors are having on the future of Yahoo.  And let’s not forget the huge bill that Microsoft and Mr. Icahn cost Yahoo.  I believe the total cost so far in the second quarter is around $22 million.  Now the total cost is somewhere in the ballpark of $36 million.  This huge amount of money was going to adviser and legal fees.  It’s hard being a publicly traded company trying to stop an unsolicited takeover bid.  What’s next for Yahoo is anyone’s guess.  I think they will pull through this mess and come out on top, you’ll see.
